RELATIONSHIPS

This will probably be the closest to the need for love and belonging from Maslow’s Pyramid of Needs since relationships relate to human interaction.

At one point in life, we all need to address certain concerns that relate to friendships and/or family – biological family (parents, siblings, children) or chosen family (spouses and partners), mono-parental or reimagined family. Motherhood in the last two is especially challenging. Parenthood overall changed its approaches placing the focus on the well-being of the child, rather than the easiest way for the parents.

The wave of “outspokenness” about physical, emotional intimacy, and sexual relationships are reaching also Eastern Europe and the Balkans. These topics need to be addressed also in the context of families.

Covid-19 has changed the membership and social group affiliation configuration. In this subsection, our Community members will share their advice and tips on membership to and interaction in the social groups, including online ones.
